Corporate governance

The Board is committed to the highest standards of corporate governance and recognises that good governance is fundamental to helping the business deliver its strategy whilst generating shareholder value and safeguarding shareholders’ long-term interests.

The Company has a Group Executive, an Audit Committee, Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee.

Kingfisher is subject to the UK Corporate Governance Code (the 'Code'), published by the Financial Reporting Council (available from www.frc.org.uk).

The Corporate Governance Statement, available here, provides a detailed account of how the Company has applied the Code's principles and complied with the provisions and supplements the information provided in the Company's Annual Report.

Kingfisher believes that a robust and effective governance framework is essential to support management in delivering the company's strategy. This is particularly true as we continue to deliver our ONE Kingfisher strategy.
